Cute conversation piece for my coffee table! (:
Ever since I moved into my apartment, I have been looking for a perfect piece that can be substituted throughout the seasons as the year progressed. Honestly, I am 100% in love with my discovery of, wait for it because you aren’t going to believe this, electronic candles! Yes, I was shocked too when my mother-in-law(well that’s basically what she is even though my boyfriend and I are not married yet) showed me her find at Hobby Lobby.
These neat candles come in a set of three and even come with a remote control for the candles. Simply add 3 triple A batteries to each candle and these babies are set with a magnificent glow that could warm any threshold. Luckily I got mine on sale for about $20 dollars;however, they normally run at the price of $39.99 on regular retail price.
Hobby Lobby also has an assorted collection of designed electronic candles(which I found cute, but decided on the plain to better match my decor).
I also found the stand that they’re sitting on for sale at $12 dollars, whereas it normally runs about $24.99 regular retail price.
The question was, how was I going to decorate it? The stand and the candles themselves didn’t seem like enough, so I went to my local walmart and grabbed the two pumpkins from the Better Homes & Garden collection, each at 97 cents and a package of fall leaves at a $1.97.
So there was my look, for less than $40 dollars! You cant beat that at all!
The cool thing about this centerpiece is that once fall is over and I want to switch over to Christmas I can simply take the pumpkins and leaves off and replace them with more festive things. (:
