Life Behind the Lens

This is a picture of a broken window at Simpson's new Blank Performing Arts Center, or BPAC as we call it. Somebody had shot at the window and if you look closely you can actually see the bullet holes.

Originally I was going to tweet about it for one of my classes(as required to do such); however, it never managed to get off my memory card until I started doing a photojournalism project for that same class. After editing the color, it turned out to be a pretty cool picture. As you can see I am in the photograph as a shadow, which I thought was a pretty cool affect. Aesthetically I really enjoy this photo because its in a darker shadow tone. (:

Its kind of symbolic in a way, if you really think about how life can be. In an instant everything can shatter and break into a million pieces...and its up for you to place them all back together. I'm not going to say its a Pulitzer prize winner; however, it did turn out to be a pretty cool picture. ^^
